A) Digital Stationery (4 colors)
- Separate recto and verso documents
- Resolution: 300 DPI
- Color: CMYK or PMS (NO RGB)
- 1/8 inch bleed on each side
- 1/8 inch safety zone inside final format
PHOTOSHOP FILES: TIFF, EPS, PDF/X-4. CS5 or earlier. Flattened images. Convert PMS to CMYK. Max ink: 300%.
ILLUSTRATOR FILES: EPS, PDF (PDF/X). CS5 or earlier. Vectorized fonts. Embedded images. Use OVERPRINT PREVIEW.
B) ENVELOPES AND LETTERHEADS (1-2 PMS):
- Illustrator only (.EPS, .PDF)
- PMS colors properly identified (no CMYK)
- Vectorized fonts and embedded images
- Minimum 5/16 inch space on each side
SPECIAL FINISHING: Provide separate REFERENCE document.
IF SPECIFICATIONS ARE FOLLOWED, YOUR VISUALS WILL MATCH THE DESIRED RESULT. Graphics fees apply if files require manipulation.
For deeper, richer blacks in 4-color printing, adjust the three complementary colors. The recipe is: C40 M20 Y20 K100.
The change will not be visible on screen, but on paper it makes all the difference.
- Resolution: 125 DPI in CMYK
PHOTOSHOP: JPEG, TIFF, EPS, PDF. ILLUSTRATOR: EPS, PDF (PDF/X). CS5 or earlier.
INK PERCENTAGE: MAX 300% (200% for adhesive vinyl).
Screen colors do not guarantee printed results. Material texture, finish, and printing method affect final color. For combo orders, add an EPSON proof. Minimum fee: $30. Color consistency not guaranteed between orders.
Lamination applies a plastic film (matte, glossy, or satin) to printed documents. Unlike UV treatment, it covers complete sheets only.
Bleed is the area beyond final trim dimensions, printed on then cut away. Minimum: 1/8 inch. Ideal: 1/4 inch.
Offset paper: versatile, good value, recyclable options.
Coated paper: mineral coating improves print quality. Available in glossy, satin, and matte.
Single Fold - Two equal parts, four pages.
Roll Fold - Three sections, six pages.
Accordion Fold - Zigzag parallel folds.
Gate Fold - Two sides open like shutters.
Wallet Fold - Gate fold plus additional fold.
Economy Fold - Two actions, eight pages.
